Wantanee Siripattananuntakul's works take a critical view on social, political, economic and cultural issues. Each project often consists of different media such as sculptures, sound, videos and interactive installations, grouped around specific themes and messages.Wantanee Siripattananuntakul is recognized for exploring the potential of works of art to raise many social questions and to increase awareness of social issues. In 2007, represented Thailand at the 53rd Venice Biennale. Recent exhibitions of her work include The Broken Ladder(2018), VER Gallery, Bangkok; "(dis)continuity" (2016) The Art Center, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, A Wantanee retrospective (2007), PSG Gallery, Bangkok among others.

Wantanee Siripat and her companion, a grey African parrot, Beuys lead a workshop on living and thinking with companion species where together they explored modes of questioning and intervening in everyday politics and life in Thailand.
